Has anyone out there had the dubious pleasure(?) of replacing a screen on an Apple Mac Air (A1237) It is scarey. We have tackled many impossible jobs but these one none of us whats to take on. It is a store owned computer so it doesn't really matter but hate to wreck it. Any body have any suggestions? Have searched for info and there is some on Youtube but you know how that stuff can be.

Thanks in advance.

We have done a few. My advice, buy the full screen assembly.

I thought most Apple hardware you could only get from Apple and of course they wont sell it to you.
exception memory, Hard drive

can you get all Apple screen after market?

Screencountry's layout is pretty cumbersome, you can also use www.laptopscreen.com, same company.

They usually have the LCD panels in stock but don't always have the full assembly.

Only problem I find is that Apple will do the repair for the same price as the parts are going to cost you.
