We are coming across more m.2 ssd drives and want to be more prepared to work with them. My understanding is there are several different versions so we will need a few different adapters. I am thinking for simplicity a usb would be nice to use, but we are open to connecting directly to a pci express slot. If we got one that hooked into a pci express slot we would need to to work easily with linux to do a ddrescue image. Any suggestions on specific adapters to buy so we are fairly covered in regards to what m.2 SSDs we get in the shop?
