Luxul networking equipment

Hi,
A residential client purchased a new house and it is wired with a Luxul 24 port switch and APs and an AP controller. He said the person he bought the house from never used it because he had no idea how to hook it up. (it was installed previous to him owning the house.)

Anyways my plan is to reset everything and update the firmware and start from scratch.

Ive never come across this brand of equipment and was wondering if anyone had any heads up before I dig in.

I'd throw it out and put in whatever you support.
I've seen Luxul a few times...they sell to some small ISPs and installers of cheap audio systems and such. Nothing I'd want to ever support....only thing I'd do with them is rip them out and throw in the trash.

What he said. I've run into this equipment a couple of times, too. They market directly to Home Theatre installers - support seems to be locked up to registered installers. They work, just not very well. Replace with something you can support.
