Looking For Free Social Media Automation Website or Program

We used to use www.roost.com to create and schedule our Facebook and Twitter posts. We'd create and schedule them each Friday for the next week. That way if we were really busy during the next week we wouldn't have to worry about remaining active on our social media accounts. www.roost.com is now vertical response and is no longer free. Does anyone know of a good free website or program to use for this?

For my site I just set up rss feed.
Used free rss syndication on facebook and twitter picks up the feed as well.

Regards,

Roost was the only one I was aware of, sorry. TBH though the 19 bucks a months is really good for what you get. Saves at least two hours a week on posting etc.

Edit: HootSuite has a free option

I believe I tried Hootsuite, but it only seemed to want to link up to my personal Facebook account and not our Business Facebook page. Does anyone know how to make it work with a business page?

We do social media by hand during the day and then Hootsuite on nights/weekends. I have had the best response from the non-Hootsuite postings though. I was not a fan of automation, but it does help with keeping on everyone's walls/updates and feeds.

bufferapp.com is what you want (i think). my "buffer" is always full for facebook and twitter posts (you can also link linked in). buffer crucially also works with ifttt.com.

I use hoot suite, I have it linked to my Facebook business page, twitter, google+ business page and LinkedIn. I also have it setup to monitor my blog and auto post to g+ and Facebook.

Anything above this will cost so leaving it like this just now.

I know its a old thread, but I just wanted to chirp in here.

I've been using hootsuite for a good few months now, and find its brilliant, for automating posts, between facebook (personal and bus pages), twitter etc.

I love the auto scheduling to. When I can post things a few days in advance. Brilliant for blogging.

Plus its free too (there is a pro version - but i've not looked into it).

the only program I'm aware of is hootsuite, although from this thread there seem to be more so those might be worth looking into as well

i have just tried bufferapp.com and i have been happy with it and it works really well in scheduling posts.
I have it on my Chrome browser as an extension and also as an App on my Note 3.

It works on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and you can do 1 post to all.

There is a premium version that you have to pay per month but im just using the free one for now and so far so good.
