I am working on my new website, which is starting to get to the state where I am ready to go public with it. I want a few logos to put on the footer of my website, so far I have my MS Refurb logo and a logo of credit cards for payment, I have also made my own "Established in 2006" logo.

Any ideas for a couple more logos? I know to use ARCBO you now need to pay. I am registered with the UK Information Commissioner (Data Protection Act) but as far as I know there are logos I can use for that.

I might end up just adding some social media site logos like "Like us on facebook" etc. Any other ideas?

Do you have any Microsoft accreditations like MCP etc?

No, I setup the business more less since leaving university so never did the MS qualifications. These days you can do them as apart of the course but back then there was no option and never bothered doing it since then. I have quite a few academic qualifications but no actual computer certifications.

Nope, never sell enough of anything to qualify for any of those schemes, even Bitdefender I only sell about 2-3 a week at the most.
I am an ESET reseller. No minimums. You should check them out. I can send you my rep's details if you like.

In regards to the thread topic, I only have my Simply Business Insurance seal/logo on the site (for now)
On paperwork footers I have the insurance seal, ICO, ACRBO and ESET logos.
Think I will put them on my site footer when I finally get round to it!

Julian are we allowed to use ICO logos on our website and marketing material? I am registered with the ICO and have put my registration number on my website. I thought about the insurance logo, but I am not sure if it would tempt chancers when they see I am insured for £1million and I am now with Hiscox and I am not sure if they have a similar logo I could use.

I will look into the Eset thing, I believe they have quite good margins as well. Sadly with ARCBO you now have to pay about $50 a year to use the logo and I am not sure if there is any other benefits of joining for UK businesses.

I am not registered with the FSB as I just don't see any benefit from it, I already get free business banking from Santander.

Manchester Chamber of Commerce, looks authoritive and there are no rules about not using it, just link to them :)

I would have thought I would have to join though? I think it is quite expensive, I actually did a two week 14 day course with them before I setup my business back in 2005.

Uh, okay yep you're right about the ICO logo. Oh well. I'll make my own logo for data protection (maybe a folder with a padlock) with mention of my ICO reg number.

Might contact them to see if they have any material that I could display apart from the Access Aware stuff for internal use.
