Was looking at buying some ddr4 for customers machine looked at prices wow they have gone up sold out of the stock i bought a less than half of the listed prices now.
I know crypto-miners use alot of video cards but ram??.
Looks like price fixing to me......

Simply, there's a DRAM and NAND memory shortage going on. Supply is low, demand is high, the price goes up. Analysts are warning this trend will continue through 2018. The video card "shortage" is due to the unprecedented demand for graphics cards by crypto miners more than any sort of real life shortage. In the case of video cards, supply has remained constant while demand has skyrocketed, so you get higher prices as a result.
