Be very careful with that approach I have heard of people answering yes to several questions then getting bills for services they didn't want but the provider has a recording of you agreeing "saying yes" and they end up with large bills
I keep getting the "We can lower your credit card percentage blah, blah, blah" calls. They use several different phone numbers to call me. I just start answering with the word "yes" for every question and comment now until they hang up! Makes me chuckle!!! :) :) ;)

Thank you for that. I hadn't looked at it that way. But I never let them know about any of my credit cards.

So I think I shall just hang up in the future.

I too have been tempted to play with them. But reason prevails. The Internet has made the world a much, much smaller place. You'd be amazed how quickly someone can get doxed, with all of the resulting problems that comes with that. So if I do get a scammer call I just hang up.

It is not my place to run the train the whistle I cannot blow.

It is not my place to say how far the train is allowed to go.

it is not my place to shoot off steam nor even ring the bell.

... but let the damned thing jump off the tracks and see who catches hell.
