We've had good results with some of the USB video adapters, like USB to DVI from nvidia..

I would just cut the case out... considering the PCI slots match the cutting space (I wouldn't be surprised hehe)

Yes, the new low end HPs are incredibly cheap. I was surprised when I saw they started using external PSUs for the desktops. At the rate they're going they'll probably be making cases out of cardboard in a year or two, then they can advertise that it's earth friendly & recyclable.

Yeah that was my concern. If they were stupid enough to make a case like this I was thinking the insides probably match...

Yep, as you can see in the picture in your link, no PCI-Express expansion slots.

Why are they looking to upgrade video? If they need dual output you might be ok with an external USB adapter.

If they are looking to run games on this thing, I'm sorry to say that they are probably out of luck.

Bah. Garbage.

Make sure, if you get a new chassis for it, that the board is a standard matx form factor. Some of the HPs have 'unique' boards that are outside of normal form factor guidelines and will not fit into a matx case.

We started carrying this a couple of weeks ago. It's powered by a laptop power cord!

That is about as bare bones as you can get without going raspberry pi.
2 Sata ports? sorry about wanting that extra hd. No expansion slots, a soldered down AMD...

I just cried a little on the inside.

That is about as upgradeable as a tablet.
