Hi all

I'm trying to get a VPN tunnel set up to a Zyxel P-661HNU-F1. Its for a RoadWarrior. I have tried following the user guide but no luck so far.
I have tried with both the Windows 7 client and with ShrewSoft VPN Access Manager but no joy.

What I'd really like is for some of you guys to have a look at Pg. 217 of the manual and see what you think the correct configuration might be becasue I sure can't figure it out. The local IP of the router is 172.16.24.254

I'd really like to get it sorted ASAP!

TIA

Recommendation: Give up and get a better router...

We had a Zyxel 660HW (basically the same thing, just a day or 2 older) and the configuration is absolutely atrocious! yeah its all laid out in a semi-intelligent way, but i was never able to get port forwarding to work right (should be simple), VPN was not possible (not because of the settings, it just never would work), and various other issues.
My favorite was trying to disable the firewall for testing. 10 minutes later it *might* be disabled. Reboot for good measure, and some things were still getting blocked for no reason...
Got a cheap ADSL modem and Linksys E3000 from the egg, and life has been good since. And while i admit its not professional grade stuff, its a whole lot better for the money than that stinkin Zyxel!! (dont worry, the Westell we had first was worse...)

oh, and i dont see any user guide on your link, else i would answer the question too! :D
