Gotta Go App Does Not Work with IOS 12.x?

The 'Gotta Go' app that was mentioned in this thread worked really well on my old IPhone 5 with IOS 10.x.
Now, it does not work with my new IphoneX (IOS 12.x).
Basically, the app would send my Iphone a text message and/or a phone call to help me get talkative clients off the phone
Does anyone know of an alternative that will work with my IPhonex and IOS 12.x?

Do you really need an app for that?

Just say, "Sorry, my other line is ringing, I need to take this."
Or if you have a storefront, "Sorry, I need to take care of this customer that just walked in."

Do I need it? No.
However, I find that the 'sound' of a phone ringing or a text message coming in helps me in certain scenarios with some clients.

You are too funny.
But seriously, you would be surprised (maybe not) at the number of scenarios (people) I have used it with in the past.
For example, I have a very senile Uncle who we will call 'Uncle X'.
All Uncle X wants to do (literally) is complain about the food at the retirement home where he lives.
However, he is considerate enough that he does not want me to lose business because of him.
So, my call display shows Uncle X is calling.
I immediately start the Gotta Go app with a 5 minute timer.
After Uncle X rants about the food for 5 minutes ... the Gotta Go app calls me.
Me: Uncle X - my other line is ringing I gotta go!
Uncle X: Yeah, I can hear it. OK. Bye for now Allan.
Me (after I hang up) ... 'Saved by the bell'
