Hi everyone.

Have an issue with a screen replacement. 14.0 led

Basically old screen smashed, ordered new screen, installed, worked fine for 2 days. Then screen went black.

Put the old screen back in, works fine.

RMA new screen, replacement comes, laptop powers up, screen stays black.

RMA that screen, ordered from different supplier, screen comes, install screen stays black.

Flexing the video lead makes no difference. Place the old screen back in, screen works, image there, apart from the smash..

Original Screen - LP140WH1(TL)B1)
1st replacement screen - B140XW01 v.9
2nd replacement screen - B140XW01 v.9
3rd replacement screen N140BGE-L22

So now all 3 screens will be returned.

Question. With the 3 new screens all being compatible, do you guys think that if an original LP140... is installed it will work?

I'm already out of pocket close to £120, for these screens, and really can't afford another one, until the refund(s) hit my account.

Client is ok with the wait, as they have a replacement laptop which they are currently using.

Cheers dom.

I'll wait till the refunds hit my account before ordering.

Paid out over £700 this week, ready for a big job, then client decides can't afford the job yet, and postpone for a few weeks..

Quoted £3k for the job inc labour, client to pay for all machines direct to suppliers, (so they can claim the vat.. Close to £900.

Then client wants another two workstations added, so include that on the pro forma, inc office for each machine. Pro forms hits them for over £4,500. Then they decide it's too much money, and have to wait..

So I'm more then completely brassic, over my od limit! :(.

So having to return said items, and get refunds on those too. It's been a sh!t3 week to say the least..

Doesn't sound good. :( I've resorted to cleaning!!

It's my own fault mate. I should of told them I needed cleared funds in my account, before ordering.

Trust me, it's a lesson learned, and one I WILL be telling them, when they DO want the job doing..
