Has anyone ever come across this scenario?
TP-Link Archer wifi modem router. Can't remember the model but business class.
My Win7 laptop is connected to eth1 on the router and looking at the admin page. The moment I plug the router into the D-Link switch, the router eth port stops functioning.
Leave the laptop plugged in. Unplug the switch. Reboot the router. Wait for the admin page to come back. Wait for adsl to connect. Plug in the switch and all eth ports on the router stop functioning. Try a brand new modem router, configure the adsl and plug in the switch, same result.
It appears when I plug in this D-Link switch to the router, all eth ports on the router stop functioning. The leds on the switch continue to flash as a switch does.
