Do NOT keep it in one spot for a very long time and do not set the air pressure too high.
It will weaken solder on things around the area you are working on and you don't want them to move.
Heat it up gradually, don't put it on full blast half an inch from it first thing.
I set mine to around 400C, you can see the solder change looks a bit when it melts.
If it doesn't just fall out on its own, grab it with some pliers and gently move it to see if you can see the pins moving in the solder. It will be very easy to remove, so don't put a lot of force on it.
The solder jack and board is very freaking hot afterwards, do not touch. I do this work over a silicon pot holder I got at the store to protect whatever is under it.
I have before put the hot air tip right over the hole for a short while to remove the solder left in it, it just shoots out. No idea if this is even remotely recommended by anyone. lol.
