The main problem is the main telcos don't want to spend the money to prevent spoofing the CRTC and FTC need to force them to comply and put forward fines if they do not comply otherwise all money already spent by smaller telcos go up in smoke.
I have been getting these really weird calls not sure what they were about but played odd tones i can tell the diff between fax calls and this is not it but they kept war dialing all day long and they kept switching phone numbers really annoying call my telco provider they can't trace where these calls originate from.
