Petty suggestion but can you modify the Updater choices to Cancel, Start Fabs, and Quit? That way one doesn't have to wait for Fabs to reload just so they can exit it. I often start Fabs just to update it.

This version has 2 buttons when download is done : "Exit" and "Exit and reload"

Here is the change log for both versions:

Fixed:
- When dealing with "cloud only" files (files that are not physically stored on the drive but only on OneDrive or other online storage provider), the program wrongly said that source file was also in use.
- When trying to manually activate software on some Windows 11 systems, the program was not able to open the AutoBackup.ini file in a text editor.
- There could be an issue leading to error report when processing screen saver settings.

- Support for Outlook (new). Email accounts passwords will have to be entered manually after transfer/restore.
- Buttons to show/hide license information.

Fixed:
- Outlook was not be able to start after email accounts restore or transfer when Outlook was in Polish language. Outlook showed an error message saying that data file could not be found. Other languages could be affected as well.
- An error window could appear if the initially selected path was not writable: if the user canceled the task to select another path, the error counter was not reset, which could result in an error report, aven if it was empty.
- The program could execute PowerShell commands to exclude Nirsoft Tools from Windows Defender real time protection even if another anti-malware/EDR solution was installed. Now if another security solution is detected, then these commands will not be run.
- There could be an issue leading to error report when processing computer's remote access settings.
- If the program is unable to reach activation server, it now shows instructions to set required firewall rules.

I don't think you're forbidden from doing so, and for the "Fabs uninitiated" I'd be willing to bet that you'll get more responses from a hyperlink rather than having folks go out and websearch for your site themselves.

It's a marvelous product. Lead those horses directly to the watering trough!

Since it can run in command line mode as a different user (so UI is invisible), there is no reason it would not work in this case

Here is the change log for both versions:

Added:
- Ability to store some exported data to a specified folder instead of desktop while restoring data. Set or edit a ReportsStorage variable in autobackup.ini file under [CONFIG] section. Value can contain environment variables. If this variable is set, items like System information report, Intuit QuickBooks key, BitLocker digital password, Product keys, WiFi passwords, Network stored credentials, Email clients credentials, Web browsers credentials will be stored inside. To restore default behavior, just remove or clear this variable from AutoBackup.ini.

Fixed:
- The tool scanned excluded folders while listing files to be copied. Indeed, excluded content was not listed but this was a waste of time anyway.
- If the program failed to update Nirsoft tools, it left them renamed as .zip.old and kept a 0kb zip file instead. Now, if downloaded file checksum does not match available package's checksum, the 0kb zip file is is deleted and .zip.old file is renamed as .zip. This way the feature remains available until next try.

Fabs, In your email and on your last post here you mentioned this "ReportsStorage variable in autobackup.ini file under [CONFIG] section". I do not see that Variable at all. Can you please explain how to set this? I know this is a huge improvement.

As stated in the email, if it does not exist, then it has to be added manually under [CONFIG] section.
You can set something like this :
