Hi, well I've pretty much hit a wall here. I have a customer with a vista machine than is using quickbooks and Pyramid Technologies - Time Trax. She upgraded her norton then she began getting this erro whenever she tries to process reports:

Error 5000 : Error in processing report.

[ Extended Info: CP internal=103002]

she uninstalled norton, tried system restore. I logged in and ran the norton removal tool after googling that it could be script blocking in norton, ccleaner, chkdsk, sfc, checked for malware reset all ie security settings, checked firewall status, updates. Stumped, I had her contact Pyramid they suggested just reinstalling the program. Anybody run up against this before?

I haven't faced that specific problem before, but I can say that most of the time a Norton install/change/update/etc is the genesis of an issue, it has to do with permissions.

Can you give me more info on permissions? still stuck here.

I'm not familiar with the particular software here but maybe the repair permissions option in D7 could help. It resets all acl permissions. Shooting in the dark, but couldn't hurt.

yeah maybe, I did see a quickbooks mapped drive that had the red X, I'm hesitant to reset permissions on biz in case the network admin is NA!
