A client of mine has a erro Wi-Fi system at his house.

He wants me to install new Wi-Fi at his office and said he is happy with erro at home.

I want to install unifi to go with the USG I recently installed.

Anyone have any experience with erro? I had never heard of it before this.

Pros/cons of each?

Thanks!

Never heard of it either but it looks like a simple plug-n-play Wi-Fi system designed for home use.

If all they need WiFi for in the office is internet access for a handful of computers, then it may be suitable. If they need anything more than that I'd be recommending Unifi to him for greater control and management of access to the business networks.

You mean Eero? One of the early and successful home MESH systems.
It would compete against say, Amplifi, or Netgears Orbi, or Googles Mesh.

But since you already have a USG at his office, and his office is probably a "business"...you might some more biz grade features that Unifi has, and Eero does not. As well as...you biggest case is ease of management. You'll already have a Unifi controller setup to manage his USG, so it's only logical that you also use a Unifi switch and Unifi access points for single pane management (thus lower long term costs for him).

Yep Eero get decent reviews but they are a home/consumer product. You won't get features like QoS, VLAN tagging, DPI etc

They are also a wireless mesh so highly unlikely to match speed and reliability of cabled access points.

As a general tip life is much easier when you keep hardware consistent across clients. You have to support this network for the foreseeable future so use what you are comfortable with.

I've got experience with both eero and UniFi. Like both really well. eero can be cabled between APs rather than relying on mesh.

In your case the UniFi AP AC Pros are less than a single eero unit.
