G'day folks,
Just had an enquiry for drivers for Mac for a vintage printer.
Hopefully someone has a stash to share, Fuji Xerox said they've washed their hands off such relics 😏
 
Oops. Didn't drill down further. But as I mentioned CUPS works very well. You can even access more settings than the default ones provided by the OEM. That's a printing system for *nixes developed by Apple. It's very easy to enable and use.
The customer is handling it himself so something straightforward would be most suited.
Don't think he'd be prepared to explore other options 🤔 .
I've passed on the package suggested by @dannyict and I'll wait to hear if any hiccup or not.
 
macOS is based on BSD Unix, specifically Darwin, which is a BSD-based Unix-like operating system
Along with many others. Used to be you could cat the copyright for each "version". Most of the networking and NAS OS's were forks of BSD back in the early days. These days most everything is a fork of some version of Linux.
