Well, I wouldnt look at it as such a big deal then. I am not belittling you, I am just saying that its not like it hasnt happened before if you check the history on the areas.
I look at it like this - If I get a bit of a rash on my forearm from something then is it reasonable to expect my whole body is going to turn into one big rash? No. I would be putting too much worry into nothing really.

) . California is kinda known for having droughts. Thats just part of history. What is pathetic is that all these farmers are going to go bankrupt because they will not divert water because of an endangered fish.
This is the delta smelt. It lives in only one area and you most likely have never even seen it before. If it was not there the next day it would not effect you or anyone in any way. But, For some reason it has to be preserved. So, Farmers have to go without water.
Do not worry. Nothing out of the norm is happening.
