Do not believe in climate change caused by mankind?

While science is always open to new discoveries and theories, evolution is pretty much a given. The evidence is so overwhelming that, even though it directly contradicts many religious myths, those who want their religions to retain any credibility have been forced to accept the concept of evolution and modify their beliefs accordingly.

As for the numerous Gods or 'creation', there is zero evidence to support these myths. You could never disprove them any more than you can disprove the existence of the flying spaghetti monster. People have made stuff and stories up since mankind first walked the earth. To be taken seriously, the onus is on those making the fantastical claims to provide evidence to support their theories. Only then would the onus pass to those refuting the theories to provide contrary evidence.

To put it another way: There has to be at least a grain of evidence to prove that something exists before there is any point trying to find evidence that it does not.

*I* know that. Was simply pointing out that fact to the person that asked for "solid logistics."

...about a crackpot politician and "business adviser" to the Australian Prime Minister. Now that's a scientific pedigree that I'd trust. No conflict of interest here.

Understand this, When an opposing viewpoint is mentioned or proof to the contrary one will be attacked personally to help perpetuate the belief of the left.

Evidently this is the make up of a crackpot politician and "Business Advisor" :

Newman's career spans forty years in stockbroking and investment banking, including as Managing Director in 1984, and Executive Chairman from 1985 until 1999, of what is now the Deutsche Bank Group in Australia. He was Chairman of the Deutsche Bank Asia Pacific Advisory Board and a Director of Deutsche Bank Asia Pacific from 1999 to 2001. He was also Chairman of Deutsche Asset Management (Australia) Limited from 1997 until 2000; retiring from Deutsche Bank in July 2001.

Newman chaired a number of Asian business alliances including the East Asia and Oceania Stock Exchange Federation, and the Australia Taiwan Business Council. He has been an adviser to Australian governments, as a member of the Consultative Committee on Relations with Japan (1984–1987); a Commissioner of the National Commission of Audit (1996); a member of the Business Advisory Panel established by the Minister for Multicultural Affairs (1997–2002); Chairman of the National Judging Panel for Innovation in Local Government (1997–1998); Chairman of the Commonwealth Government's National Year 2000 Steering Committee (1997–2000) and the Business Mature Age Workforce Advisory Group (2000–2001); Co-Chair of the Singapore Australia Business Alliance Forum (1999–2002); Chairman of the Federal Treasurer's Financial Sector Advisory Council (1998–2007); Member of the New South Wales Premier's Major Events Board (2002–2004); Chairman of the Sydney Convention & Visitors Bureau (2001–2007); and Chairman of Tourism NSW (2002–2007).

In 1997, he was Australia's Private Sector Representative to the First Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Business Forum held in London; and in 1999 led a delegation of senior Australian executives to New York promoting "Australia, the Dynamic Success Story of the Asia Pacific - A Centre for Global Financial Services".

Newman was the Chairman of Acrux Limited (1999–2003); Chairman of the Sydney Legacy Citizen's Committee (1998–2004); Member of the Advisory Committee of Australasian Medical Insurance Ltd (January – August 2003); Member of the Advisory Council of the Asia Society AustralAsia Centre (2001–2004); Member of the Business Council of Australia's Chairmen's Panel (2003–2007); and Civil Patron, Royal Australian Naval reserve, Professional Studies Program (2005–2009).

He served as Chancellor of Macquarie University from 2002 to February 2008. Currently he is an Honorary Professor at Macquarie University and Honorary Chair of the Macquarie University Foundation Patrons.

He was a Director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 2000 to 2004; and served as Chairman of the ABC between 1 January 2007 to 31 March 2012.

In 2002 Newman was appointed an Advisor to the Marsh Group of Companies. In June 2004, he was appointed a Director of the Queensland Investment Corporation.

The objective is not to save the planet from global warming but to establish a universal common cause to bring about a one world government structure of centralized power.

Yet, right from the article:
“It’s a well-kept secret, but 95 percent of the climate models we are told prove the link between human CO2 emissions and catastrophic global warming have been found, after nearly two decades of temperature stasis, to be in error,” he said, without providing evidence.

Yet, right from the article:

It was just recently in the news (as I mentioned) that they have been finding the data from weather studies manipulated. I will try and look for the news on that. Seems to me I saw it on DrudgeReport.com at one time. However, It escapes me now.

But I did find this for you :)

Have a great climate change day!

Weather lately has been very strange one day it's 23C next day it's snowing i have never seen such wild temperature fluctuations this close to summer?.

How about if we switch to something else?

Ladies and Gentlemen , I give you......

let us all work together to stop "Man Made Continental Drift" now !

Good one Coffee! Despite being "apples and oranges", I had a pretty good chuckle.

Climate change garbage ok how about this it's not a fairy tale it actually happened and is a part of history and is fact:

Sound familar something like is happening now?

I think Gunslinger was referring to "MAN MADE" Climate Change. Not climate change in general.

The little ice age started around 1320 and lasted to about 1850. Hardly a man made event.

Incidently, The Little Ice Age started right after the Medieval Warming Period which was from about 950 to 1250 AD. Again, Nothing man made at all.

Before that we had a series of Ice Ages. Some small some rather large that streatch back about 2 million years. For evidence of this you only have to investigate the geological evidence.

Warming, Cooling... Its been happening long before man arrived and is still with us. Nothing we do will change it either way. Since the 1970s when a lot of people started crying about mmcc nothing has happened to change it. The only thing that has happened is some people have gotten rich off it.

That is what i believe climate change has been happening for billions of years only way we can change it is weather engineering, man only contributes 4% of total co2 nature-oceans are the largest.
what is scarey everything that happened then is happening now
Arctic ice melt allowed Eskimos to kayak further than they every did before: check
Glaciers growing and moving at accelerated rate in mountain regions of the world : check
Bad winters very cold more than normal lots of snow mid US and mid Ontario: check
Droughts ,crop failures, death from famine, flooding in other parts of world: check

Somalia, 2010-2012 260,000 people died from famine in Somila alone that is just one area many more died in other countries.

Weather Engineering? Fine if you want to try but not with my money. Use yours if you want but keep it private and not include tax dollars.

You can not change it at this point.

Exactly.

Nailed it. If you truly believe in man made climate change and want to try and stop this fairy tail, be my guest, just not with my money. Its easy to jump on a cause when the money is coming out of others pockets.

@Galdorf said " Somalia, 2010-2012 260,000 people died from famine in Somila alone that is just one area many more died in other countries."

The real reason that you have all these people dying is the governments. For thousands of years Somila and similar countries have gone thru this type of weather. Governments like the U.S.A give relief money to the country and the country's government takes the money and the people never see it or see a very small portion of it. What also happens is that small portion that the people do see is in the form of food. So, Its like feeding and keeping rabbits. They tend to multiply because of the food source and then the laws of suppy and demand take over.

You see this in the form of the stupid "Save the kid" commercials on TV. "Donate money", They say. "We need your help". No, Actually you need to put pressure on the government there to change. Of course that government thinks "Why worry about our people when other countries will feed them?. We can take the money we save (and that we get from these countries) and use it to push our agenda".

None of the starvation or climate has anything to do with the starving people of these countries. When is the last time you read about one of these countries starting a honest project of irrigation to improve their crops to feed their people? Also, Where do you think these countries get the money for all the high tech military equipment they have while their people starve?
