Well I'm stuck with a Dell Optiplex 330 with constants blue screens. Replaced the memory sticks with brand new ones and before doing so, cleaner the contacts. But I keep getting the same bluescreen. Tested the HDD and came out clean, no errors. I'm going to Pave And Nuke it to discard software issues.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem?

Take a real close look at the main board for leaking / domed capacitors (the little things that look like mini barrels). If you find any then it is time to stop! No wipe & reload is going to fix this problem!

Hey Jimbo...where do you see a bsod code??? I don't see where the OP left one. That was going to be my first question "What is the bsod code?"

Also make sure that the computer has the CORRECT memory installed and that if there are more than one stick(s) of memory installed that they be the same type , population, etc..

Both sticks are the same, and correct specs as listed by Dell.

Thank you for your time. I would like to be able to thanks the other posters but their sarcasm and lack of profesionalism wont let me do so. They should grow up...

Was there sarcasm? Yes. But you were lucky in that it could have been (much) worse.

Many on TN are tired of reading yet-another-post-asking-for-help but not providing even basic information. Your post read as if from an end-user, not a tech.

For example, you were asking for help resolving a BSOD, but you didn't even provide the stop code! Nor did you provide any supporting information such as the OS, whether the BSOD just occurred or was an ongoing issue, whether the failure occurred in safe-mode or with a live CD, etc, etc.

Also, you reported checking only for hardware issues, but many BSODs are caused by software problems. And doing a N&P to "discard software issues" is generally not going to make your customers happy.

Sorry to be blunt, but the "lack of professionalism" rests on you.

Now, use this incident as a learning experience. We've all started at the bottom and made mistakes. Being defensive doesn't help. For starters, take a look at http://www.technibble.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1246

Yes I forgot to include the bsod stop code but as you clearly stated everyone can make mistakes. Being "defensive" isnt the solution bur either is being offensive.
