CUstomer & Invoice

Okay, I did work for a customer on both his Laptop and his wife Desktop!
I charged $xxx, he paid in check. everyone is happy no problem.
I get an email from him today asking me if i could send him Invoice/Receipt "which i was about to do".
So I send him a detailed Invoice with both his laptop and his wife desktop for the amount he paid $xxx.
he emailed me back saying that he want me to make the invoice with only his Laptop and for the same amount he paid the $xxx so that he can send it to his boss?!!!!

What shall i do!

Just annotate it as "PC Troubleshooting and repair - XX Hours" Don't specify.

That's kind of shady, but probably not illegal since it's not an insurance claim or anything like that. I would probably have a big problem with it though if I did as much work or more on the non-business system. If he actually called you out there to fix his work system and you just happened to do a few things to the other one then I don't really see a problem with that.

I don't really have the full picture so I can't say, but you might want to keep an eye on this guy. If he's willing to screw over his boss he might just be willing to screw you over too, although he might just be one of those people that think it's okay to "steal" from his job. If you've ever worked in an office you know what I'm talking about. There is one in every crowd.
