Copy.com - game changer for online storage?!

I found this new online backup service called Copy.com, which is part of Barracuda Networks. I've been using it for a while now and I kinda like it. As a matter of fact, I might even like it better than Dropbox

• The client is clean and organized.
• Supported on Windows, Linux, Android and Mac.
• Free signup with 15GB (!) of storage.
• Referral: 5GB to both you and the person you refer. No ceiling(!)
• (Company) plans are cheaper than Dropbox & Box.
• Fair storage.
• Nice web-interface!
• Etc., etc., more good stuff, etc....

Of course I would have liked to post a referral link but that's against TN regulations as I would benefit from it. On the other hand (I didn't think of this earlier when I asked for permission to post a referral-link *pending*), using a referral link benefits the person who gets referred as well. Both receive 5GB extra so the referee starts with 20GB instead of 15. Feel free to ask me for a referral link via PM I hope that's not stretching regulations too far. I do not want to break them in any way.

Wow, I like that "Fair Sharing". And the "any directory syncing" just by placing a shortcut into the copy.com folder (instead of actually storing files in it) is really cool.

Brilliant timing for you to post this. I've been looking all over for a good storage system like this. Dropbox is the best so far I've seen but super expensive. I've tried out so many others too like Amazon Cloud, Skydrive (could be the best with it's integration in 8.1, but friggen file size limits ruin it), DreamObjects, etc.

This is great! I have both Sugar Sync and DropBox free accounts. I love that this offers wayy more space for Free. Thank you so much! Gonna download it tonight and give it a try. Really appreciate this.

On one hand I'm surprised by the lack of reactions. On the other hand I'm not. The first time I read about Copy.com I thought exactly what the review at bestbackups.com deservedly says: "When we first heard of Copy.com, we exhaled and thought “yet another cloud storage and syncing services again!"" Right after that they say: "And we couldn’t be happier to be wrong." And it's true!! I'm not looking to get free GB's here, this is a great service which I want to make known here on TN.
