There's been a number of posts about what you should do prior to opening your own computer shop here on TN. Many forum members have given advice for others to follow. Admittedly, some good, some not so good. But this is how we all learn from one another and help one another.
The best advice I've seen for opening your own shop is the use of a business plan. The issue with that was that there was no structure to work off of - or outline so to speak detailing what goes into a business plan. In order to help, below is a business plan model that you can use either in whole or in part. I can only hope someone will find it useful.
This is not meant to be a word for word verbatim way of doing your business plan. So feel free to add, change, remove parts to suit your exact needs. The main thing is that it serves as a skeleton of what can be expected if your presenting your business idea to a financial institution - bank, investors, etc., but it can also serve as a guide or directional path for your own personal goals if your already financially able to open your own company.
Enjoy!
