Auslogics Defrag by far the best.

Interesting. There is also a portable version. I just fired it up under Vista 64 bit and it seems to work fine.

Definitly worth testing and if it's really that fast it will replace what I am using now.

Are you all doing the defrag and optimize or just defrag option?. When doing both it does take alot longer.

+1 I already put it on my flash drive. I normally hate doing a defrag unless the client can't get speed elswhere, but with this thing its so quick, why not.

Yep, known of and used for a long time but mainly only on the systems that really NEED a defrag as a finishing touch, sometime on others but literally even with it being as fast as it is it comes down to time...I need so much more per day every day!

I was using JKDefrag for a while; never really liked it because it was quite slow, but it did do a fantastic job.

Just been havin' a look at this one. Its got a portable version which is nice to.
And it supports the command line. Doesn't seem that the portable version does though.

So I installed it, and copied and pasted all the necessary files into a folder on my desktop, and ran it from the command line from there. So far so good ..

Will be adding this into the next version of my script I think, and remove MyDefrag..

FAST defrag =/ GOOD defrag. I'm not saying it's not good; but the way you worded it...

I am a fan of MyDefrag. Quite the fan base and availabled scripts. Also, you can find the 'aboe and beyond' scripts and functions, and make your own of course.
