At last - an free imaging app w. differential

I’ve been searching for a free imaging application with incremental backup for ages. I’ve not found one but I’ve discovered Paragon does differential backups, which might be better anyway. I’ve been testing it and it seems pretty good. The interface is a bit odd with some options tucked away a bit, like the useful Cyclic backup option which does a Normal backup and then Differential backups on a schedule.

I’ve used it to take live images of my system partition. It works quite fast. Restores can be done via the Windows interface or via a boot CD or USB. The app will create your boot media for you. I used a USB stick and this worked perfectly. In fact it makes a good bootable imaging/partition tool in general. It found my backup images allowing me to select the snapshot I needed – just like Acronis etc.

So if you've not looked at this already it's worth checking out.

Seems to have the ubiquitous "non commercial use only" stipulation.
