Anyone using Freshbooks for invoicing and ticketing?

Hi all, I did a quick search and most threads pertaining to freshbooks were quite old. I know there is a lot of love for repairshopr and I am thinking about it. But I'm also thinking about freshbooks (i can't wait to get away from mhelpdesk).

My needs:
  1. basic ticketing and customer history mgmt
  2. ease of use
  3. automatic recurring invoices for managed clients (and easily edit the terms of the invoice as the terms change/services get added)
  4. the ability to import customer data from mhelpdesk
Just tired of MHelpdesk and crappy system. I hear freshbook advertising on podnutz, so I thought I'd see what you all think or have experienced.
 
I used it when we got started about 6 years ago. Then it was nice but very basic. We outgrew it quickly and went to PCRT then RepairShopr. I'm sure a lot has changed since I used it though.
 
We started using FreshBooks about 6 months ago to keep up on our business clients. I was very excited, but my business partner, who tends to be a little more money-conscious, couldn't justify the $24.99. I knew that within the 30-day trial I would prove that it is a small investment for the tremendous return. After the 30 day trial we not only billed, but actually collected more than we had in the previous 3 months combined.

Time tracking is one of many awesome features that we utilize. The small, `10, 15 minute calls add up quickly when they are tracked with ease.
They have a risk free trial and it is very user friendly.

I have not been fortunate enough to use Repairshopr ... my business partner has designed a custom CRM that after 2 years, I still do not have the heart to inform him just how much I hate it. We have 2 retail locations and the cost of Repairshopr can add up quickly... One step at a time.

Do you use it for an automatic recurring invoicing? Do you use FB for credit card payments?
 
I currently use Freshbooks and I have been for a couple of years now. Interface is extremely simple which is great!

Built-in CC processing which allowed me to get rid of square, and not have to have a conversation to collect money.

Freshbooks app is incredible for Apple or Android.

Recurring invoicing is super simple to set up.

Auto-matic email reminders are awesome for clients who forget to pay.

Basic reports are nice for tax season and getting a general snapshot.

I have probably 250 clients in my database and when I switched from QB online (way too complex for me), to Freshbooks I spent a day manually entering in all the invoices I had created before Freshbooks, so I don't know about the import process.

For how easy Freshbooks is to use I can't not justify $25 a month for the quality of product they offer.

Has anyone tried Manager accounting software yet?

I read good things about it and it is free for single user ops which is what I'm looking for. Paid versions allow multiple users and cloud access. I don't really need all that since I'm a one man show.

I need simple & basic.

I just had a quick browse of their web site and I think I might be tempted to check it out...
 
Do you know if you freshbooks gives you the ability to schedule auto payments from a card on file? I have some clients that we charge their card monthly, but it is a manual process.
 
I like the recurring billing profiles. I can set the system to autobill any time I put in the calendar for that client. So when I finish an onsite job all I have to do is enter the time and the description of the work in the calendar. At the end of the month the system automatically creates and sends an invoice for an monthly services they buy plus the hours worked. Makes like easy for me.
 
I use Freshbooks. It is very user-friendly and works extremely well. You can easily create invoices through the mobile app.

+1 for Freshbooks
