We've all seen the price hikes with Logmein across the board. I still recommend Logmein Pro to small business looking for quick and easy remote access to a couple computers. However, I think the price is at $249 per year for two computers.

I stumbled across this one the other day: https://www.remotepc.com I'm a iBackup/iDrive partner and user. I like the simplicity (price) of their products. I did a quick test with their RA software and liked it. Not all the bells 'n whistles but seems simple for end users.

50% off for the first year, then $500 after that. That equates to about Aus$680 per year (from second year) which is more than I pay for Teamviewer.
The Aussie dollar sucks!

LogMeIn pricing is insane. I used LogMeIn Central until they went crazy jacking up the rates. Went to ScreenConnect and am really happy.

For customers, I used to put them on LogMeIn but $250 per year is ridiculous. RemotePC looks attractive, had never heard of that before. Put one customer on Parallels Access and another on GoToMyPC before I figured out they were part of LogMeIn. Might give the free RemotePC for one PC a try. Their pricing looks good too - $70 / year for 10 computers.

On sale today for 90% off, and they got 1TB of iDrive storage. There's also a partner program.

The $70 plan with iDrive says it's for a consumer or a SOHO user. I'd suggest reading the full licencing terms as for our kind of work I'm fairly sure you'd need the more expensive plan.

I'd suggest looking at AnyDesk. It's only about $190 USD a year for unlimited seats. Only one concurrent connection is included at that price, but they sell additional connections simply as an add-on.

We use Continuum as our RMM and it comes with LMI Pro which you can give access to the end user. Continuum only makes sense if you have 100 or so seats though.

I still use Citrix GoToAssist and pay $462 for 100 seats. When priced around with other vendors with the same feature set it's very close or in some cases cheaper. Have some piece of mind knowing its a product from a well known/supported company.

I've also had problems with other installers getting flagged by AV.

We moved from Logmein to Screenconnect 18 months ago. Briefly, screenconnect is 5 times the product for 1/3 of the cost with full access to every available feature. I find it a massive timesaver. My favourite feature is issuing shell commands to any set of PCs, simultaneously. For example, I recently disjoined 100 PCs from a domain and joined them to a new one, with 3 shell commands, in less than 10 minutes.

Am I correct that now ScreenConnect has two separate pricing setups? One at 0/19/35/45 per month that provides on-demand (client initiates connection) and separately based on number of endpoints for unattended?

I'm still regretting not getting ScreenConnect licenses back before they changed models, bumped prices, etc.

You like it? Tired of playing TV's game and need something EASY for our techs and our users.

But it seems LESS cost than TV and Screen Connect ($600 CAD / technician / year). 8 concurrent sessions per tech. And it gives you 100 unattended licenses.

And now LogMeIn owns GoToAssist (and GoToMyPC, and GoTo-whatever), too. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the price of those products soon.

I have been using it for 5+ years and since LogMein has come on board It's had problems. Which has me looking for new software.
