No phone or internet since Tuesday!

http://www.voipfone.co.uk/ is who I use. Not sure if they are any better or cheaper than other companies. You can have multiple phone numbers that are 'local' to the areas you want to service. I initially had 5 but cut down to 2 covering the areas I wanted to. I transferred over my main business...

    BT doesn't like OpenDNS?

I'm very suspicious about BT's DNS servers after a recent incident. I'm not sure if I posted about it in the past but if not I will post about it in the Tech Only forum if not.

Help! How to Increase Local Residential Customers?

Never tried it but I know the person who did it nd he said it would be fine when I asked. You could get magnetic ones which I have for my Land Rover. I need to remove them when towing the caravan as some sites don't like advertising. They were very cheap. I had them on my Golf when I first...

Is this the end of the computer repair shop?

You have to go with the times. Back in the 70s I was doing microfilm, fiche and cameras in the days where you really repaired things. Even in the 5 years I've been running this business things have changed. It's all about being connected and now I get other additional work like TVs, smart phones...
