Other AntiVirus AntiTrojan AntiRootkit You could try...

Yehhh, it's something I do when I have some spare time and think of it, so I update it, research it, fix broken links, etc.

ZHPCleaner.....?

https://translate.google.co.jp/tran...coolman.fr/download/zhpcleaner-2/&prev=search

Seems similar to ADWCleaner and JRT in mission, but, a few folks have said ZHPC found/fixed browser hijacks that the other two were not able to clear, this is unconfirmed, 2nd hand info, of course. At at least one poor soul said it comnpletely broke his Chrome after it's cleaning option. Certainly seems safe to 'scan', but, caution is advised before clicking 'clean' as this portable .exe is still rather new, it will take some time to develop some trust with it. (It did identify my '360' as a generic PUP, but, it did find a few lingering Conduit references in my registry...somehow! :)

Anyone used or tested Zemana?

15 day trial

Edit: quick scan takes about 9-10 min on my relatively cluttered Win7 laptop; on the positive side, like HitmanPro, it is free to scan, one could evaluate the results, clearly labeled with location, prior to considering activation, as there are a several false positives on the usual suspects. (ImPCRemote, UltraVNC, etc..)

I try not to put in anything that breaks stuff if I can help it. :)

Ultra Adware Killer (works with XP, Win7,8,8.1,10)

part of UVK but a separate download if desired, seems similar to AdwCleaner, in that it lets the user choose which things to delete/disable; it is portable/not installed, merely delete it when done!

Link to it: http://www.carifred.com/ultra_adware_killer/

Decent screenshots of it in action: http://www.ghacks.net/2015/04/03/remove-adware-in-bulk-with-ultra-adware-killer/
This seems to be a fantastic find. Thank you MDD1963, for supporting the spirit of what Technibble is all about.
