Malwarebytes update problem....

I've added BGinfo (systernals) with custom settings to my always-run checklist. Among the basics, it tells me if there's a proxy setting, what the DNS servers are, and whether or not there's something in the .EXE's hooks.

Bottom line: We can't even trust a router anymore.
 
LMAO! I am laughing because to think that a virus can do that, it's funny but true. I have had the same issues with a few folks in updating MBAM (and a few doing fresh installs from MBAM directly), but none were dealing with virus/threats, so I put on SAS (which I have been doing more of lately anyway).

Anyway, for those that are going to resell MBAM or SAS....I like SAS! I am now an affiliate and doing reselling. Mike from SAS is kick ass! Just a tip, I had a lot of difficulty getting an affiliation with MBAM. I got it eventually, but Cleverbridge gave me an affiliation link so I use them.
