I didn't see your prior page...to compare this to.
IMO...some brighter colors, more contrast..it's a bit monochromatic/black 'n white.

I like how the menu's animate.

One note...to save yourself some spam...."Encode your e-mail address in your Contact page". See how your e-mail address is in form...and more importantly...if you hover your cursor over it, it has "mailto:name@blahblah.com"....that's what the e-mail harvesting spam-bots see..and that's what they save as they crawl around the internet looking for Contact pages of websites. Get rid of that old fashioned setup and encode it. So your e-mail address is not visible, and more importantly..that "mailto:" function is hidden.

Changed the menu blocks to black and switched the text to gold. Which one do you think is better? Gold or white?

Edit: gold.. is hideous. Changing to white.

I liked the blue for the blocks more in my opinion.
The tips and tricks page rendered improperly. See attached image.
As mentioned in previous post - use of Heading tags is preferred method for SEO optimization instead of styled spans for headings.

Other than that, looks good!

Considering phasing that page out as a whole. It loads slow, runs laggy, and my social bar on the top right takes care of all that. As well as my blog. Linked below.

Just letting you know that ones also flagged.........holy mother of god I just looked at your source code on rexbytes.com. I guess that builder doesnt want you taking your site some where else heh.

I like the design... it does load pretty slow though, even on my ridiculously-fast connection. I'm guessing that's due to Wix. Our first site used Wix and it loaded slow as hell.

One thing I don't like is the font you use for headings. It looks like crap, at least on my screen. I think it's a nice style font, it's just awfully jagged in spots.

I assume you're planning on adding some content to the business tabs?

Last but not least... why is the labor on Mac screen replacements so much more? Just out of curiosity.

Personally, I would shy away from Wix as a sitebuilder. Aren't they a strictly flash site builder? I was told by a friend who designs websites for major corporations that Flash is a big no-no for websites because iPhones & iPads don't support flash. Seeing as iPhone screen repair is one of your major services, that might be something to check into.

The macbook screen repairs are flat price and that is the price with the LCD plus the labor. The Windows PC LCD repairs are not a flat price, for obvious reasons. :)

I see. Haven't messed with Macs, but I can see how that would work out with the hardware all being pretty much the same. I assume you only have to keep a few different screens on hand to be able to fix pretty much all of 'em.

Have you googled the price on a macbook LCD? They go for like $200 .. easily. It's pretty insane lol

I like the look. However, be sure to do another grammar check; I saw "Your important to us" (should be "You're") and "On you time" (Should be "your"). Very professional design however!

Your right. I will fix that when I get home. Glad you like the design, I put A LOT of work into it

Not sure about the "one byte at a time", sounds like you'll take ages to fix anything.

Kind of like a car mechanic fixing your car one nut at a time.

The idea behind doing anything "one step at a time" or in this case "one byte at a time" is that you will be very thorough. Doing it with speed comes with skill and micro management.

I just ordered one for $125. It seems to me that Mac owners are a little more prepared to shell out money for a more expensive repair than others.

Usually when sites offer parts for that low of a price I can infer 2 things. The shipping takes super long unless you spend like $30 on 1-2 day shipping or the parts are of lower quality. These providers are usually from Hong Kong and are usually very unreliable.

I like this site to. I think this one is my favorite. You are doing well. you have come a long way.

That being said maybe wait a while before asking for another review. Leave the site how it is for a while. If you change it quick to will be very hard to tell if it is working better. We can tell you it looks great or bad or whatever but if it gets you clients it doesn't matter what we say.

Case in point. I reworked my design on feb 10 2012. Since that day my website hits have doubled. If you don't give the design a chance to track the improvement how do you know what do work on?

Branding is so important. changing you site often will throw clients off. If i were the client seeing major changes all the time means instability.

This is just my 2 cents and is only meant to help

I agree with this. You also run the risk of having Paralysis by Analysis. It'll never be perfect, just get out there and put it to use.

I agree entirely and appreciate the advice. Much of my tweaking and modifying is to maximize the potential of clients getting from the home page to becoming a potential client. I discovered that most people wont do much digging so I've been optimizing the look, feel, and user friendliness of the home page. I compared my home page to home pages of more successful companies and made modifications. The hardest part of all this has been of course.. avoiding clutter and increasing the efficiency of the home page.
