wmi provider host taking 5 mins to load

wmi provider host taking 5 mins to load any ideas what could be causing this did multiple av/malware scans from cd then OS, scanned hard drive no bad sectors,ran auto runs removed everything from run.

Could be many things here.. should be some log files detailing the issue.

On that note, I have had similar issues with bad/broken installs of the .NET Frameworks. If the problem lay here... the solution is to uninstall as many .Net Framworks as you can (Usually down to 2.x) and reinstall them.

Ok this is odd according to windows there is a password, but when windows boots it does not ask for password, also repair asks for password.

How about a good 'ol NTPassword reset on the account?
