windows update catalog

Instead of waiting for windows updates to download over a sometimes slow on site broadband link I want to try using the windows download catalog. I am just in the process of downloading all the updates I need into different folders on an external hard drive.
Does any one have a good method they then use to update the clients.

I am interested in this as well. I have the service packs downloaded as a seperate file, but the windows updates whenever I do an install is at least 65-75 updates, would be nice to have these on disc somehow..

+1 for this. Here is the new link for Ct'update, now called WSUS Offline Update.

Works well, I have it on my server, which I update weekly, then if I need to update a clients pc I just map the drive on the clients pc and update.

I have all the updates from Windows 2000 to Windows 7, & Office 2000 to 2007.
