Windows Mail App partially syncing

A provider that instructs setup using POP and only offers 50MB storage should be avoided. Strongly suggest an adding an outlook.com or gmail account (if they don't already have one e.g. on their phone) and that they transition to it.

Having the old and new email address set up in the mail client makes the transition easy, means the old one can be monitored for years to come if needed.

I understand that. The client has her email on her tablet and it seems to be working fine.
Most likely a tech enabled the option on both Tablet and/or PC to leave mail on server for xx days before removing, thus allowing both tablet and PC to stay in sync. If you don't do that now, that Tablet will soon be out of sync and client will likely call you.
