I wouldn't work on the system due to legal issues moreover ethical issues. All the service fees I charge the client wouldn't be enough to cover my legal fees for a MS Audit; which seems to happen regularly nowadays.

If you did not install the OS you are not responsible for it.

to answer the question about Bart, yes I have liked it for the last year that I've used it. It just seems like there HAS to be a cheaper alternative out there....a legal one that is. I know there are boot discs out there with avg, avast, kaspersky, etc. on it but they aren't legal and I want to stay legal in my job....you NEVER know who you are working for!
