You’re not being rude. My needs may be different than yours. Being inquisitive makes us better techs. But I think 2 minutes is an exaggeration. LOL
Thanks for explaining that, i understand your method now. FYI 2 minutes is no exaggeration. Approx 1 min to boot in via PE, launch regedit change key and reboot. I have done this many times, and im finding that given the exact problem discussed origially in this post there is not so much a " profile" corruption rather that a windows screwup. I know of many cases where i have used this fix and their still working with no issues a year later
