No I don't have technet. I actually bought media center 2005 back when it came out. I use it in my living room.

I don't believe the Technet XP discs (Home, Pro, or MCE) work with the OEM codes on PC's & Laptops. I have tried a few times and failed, and also with Vista too.

I've never had issues with it, but there is a program from ms that allows you to change the product key and will do oem to retail and visa versa. I believe it's called product key changer.

You can also modify the disks to be OEM. I am not sure about the procedure but basically all you have to do is change an ini file and re slipstream the disk.

I'm willing to trade Dell OEM disks with other tech's here. I have all of the XP variations (32-bit), most of the Vista ones (32-bit) and one Windoze 7 (32-bit Home Premium). I'd like to find the rest of Windoze 7 (32 and 64-bit), and the 64-bit of XP and Vista...

I signed up for Drop Box recently, we can exchange ISO's there if needed...

I also have Gateway XP Home and Vista Home Premium...

All of my Dell discs are originals...

Yup, I just finished downloading them, but I am looking for the older and OEM specific stuff...

As far as I know those are OEM. I have used the Windows 7 home basic iso from that download link to install om many cookie cutter computer since I got it. The OEM keys work fine.

Would be great if I can get the job done today I could do with every penny due to an accident with my savings and being £100s of short of my tax bill! (saved the tax money, now I just need beer and rent money :D).

I better drive to ASDA in a bit to get a blank DVD as I have ran out. I shall wait a bit for the rush hour go down.

Cheap Quote on Every Penny Counts and going to ASDA aren't you supposed to be going to TESCO!

Move to Perth, Australia. People here have so much money they don't know what to do with it. Today I went into officeworks (staples) a lady in front of me went to checkout with a small pack of post it notes. If scanned through as £9, she questioned the checkout lady saying that seems abit odd. The checkout lady said well that is what they scanner says. The lady paid and walked out of the shop without hesitation.

£8 for small pack post it notes and you didn't put them back. WTF!

Times are tuff in US and UK (definetly not AUS) ATM but shop on EBAY it supports local people like you and price is same or cheaper. TESCO, ASDA, WALMART all put their prices up in recession's because they know people will shop at discount stores.

People in UK buy alot online sell them some RAM upgrade, it will make their online shopping faster and make sure they have security, if the get ID robbed from the PC the bank will want to know what protection they have, so sell norton 360. Banks will see this as good software and allows customer to put in claim if they get hacked.
