Hi Guys
I have a laptop here with Win11 Home Single Language installed, the OS needs re-installing and it's a long time since I used this OS.
The question is , can I install Home Edition instead or do I still need to get the single Lang version.
TIA
Dave

If it came with that version then it should automatically register the Single language license. At least that's the behavior I'd expect given what I have seen in the past.

Hi Mark
I wasn't sure about Licensing, in the past we had to use Single Language on Indian Laptops (HP Envy), I don't know if that's changed so that I can just install the same Win 11 Home that you and I would use. Isuppose my question is, does the Multi Edition ISO cover Single language.

In theory, beginning with OEM W10, the OEM license "is" the OEM motherboard. So if you originally had Pro that's what you would get. The link below goes to the W11 download page. The only option they have is Multi-Edition. So, in theory, build that installer to a USB stick. Boot from USB and it'll automatically install Single Language.

Yep, I'll give that a go. The customer has just been in to take the laptop 'for an important job', he'll bring it back later.
Cheers

And I can assert that this is what I've seen in practice. And it's a grand PITA when someone has upgraded from Home to Pro, an N&P is necessary, and you have to do that step again. And as we all know, it's not the step itself that's difficult, it's whether or not the key is present that allows it to happen.
