Will Windows upgrade cause Office activation to fail ?

I am proposing to install Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 Bit English OEM DVD - WN7-00614 on a PC that's currently running Vista 32bit with Microsoft - Office Professional Plus 2010 installed. As this has to be a clean install I am concerned that when I reinstall Office, activation will fail as it is a different OS. Am I right to be concerned ?

You should be able to activate it, might have to use phone activation. But IIRC you cannot use an OEM license to upgrade from a previous version, you must use a retail copy. OEM with COA is for new system builds only.
