v13's UI has several ugly bugs in it, but they're getting crushed pretty quickly. Untangle has been pushing updates to v13 almost nightly since release to get to the end of them all.

Base OS is the same as v12, only real changes are the new UI, and FQ_Codel support bolted into Bandwidth Control, which means BYE BYE bufferbloat!

I haven't made images for my appliances for v13 yet because I don't have upgrades anywhere yet.

As for support in the home, resellers cannot resell that home sub. Let Untangle do that. :p

My preferred UTM is Untangle. PFSense is, and I have to point this out... NOT a UTM. The reasons why are a huge thread topic in and of itself. But personally I define a UTM as a layer 7 device, that's what Untangle is. PFSense is a layer 2/3 device with layer 7 boltons, not the same gig, though there is considerable overlap. PFSense is a solid router / firewall, especially for high performance situations. That's not a UTM though... It's a firewall with upgrades...

@YeOldeStonecat did you demo the new version? If so, what did you think? I got the same email yesterday. Need to go register for that webinar and check it out.

I've not played with it yet, no hands on yet....been flat out with projects, mostly wireless projects (going crazy with Ubiquiti). Spring time I'm out offshore on an island a lot, as businesses ramp up for the summer. (Like where I'm at right now as I type this, The Pequot Inn...out on Fishers Island. Deploying their point of sale system)(and I just pitched a big Ubiquiti Unifi wifi system to today, and they're gonna do it)

So...hardly any free time on my hands in the spring.
