What's Lenovos warranty service like

I purchase computers for my customers and always order from the business side of Dell and HP. Ive been ordering Vostros and Probooks for years and am happy with the warranty service. I do an online chat so we can always understand each other and typically they either send a box to send it back, just send the part itself like a hard drive, or have a technician come out and fix it. The service gets done in 2-3 days which i think is fine.

I was wanting to expand to Lenovo, but i only have one experience with my personal IBM/Lenovo laptop from 2006, i had to ship it to their repair service in China, needless to say it took about two weeks. Has anyone dealt with their repair service lately with the Thinkpad and IdeaPad warranty service. How quick is it, do they ever just send you the part for you to repair it, are the Thinkpad and Ideapad warranty services the same?

Thanks

Lenovo service has been very good for us for the past 4 years. Typically their onsite service is done by an IBM technician or unless there is a Lenovo authorized dealer in the customers area. It is hard to become an authorized dealer though....You need to sell something like $250k per year of Lenovo before they will let you get authorized.....or at least that is how it was 1 1/2 years ago.

Lenovo good on their Thinkpad models.....I'd say their support is as good as Dells Latitude/Precision laptop support. Much better than Vostro/Inspiron support and much much better than HPs.

I've had nothing but amazing service from Lenovo and IBM.

Just my 2 cents.

I sell for Lenovo, Asus, and once in awhile higher end toshiba.

I'll use proliant or dell servers but nothing on their desktop/laptop end.
