What type of hardware is used for storage in a Surface RT?

Seems like a silly question but I've Googled for the past 20 minutes and can't find an answer.

I've read it's 32 (17GB for the OS) or 64GB so I'm assuming it's not a HDD/SDD. I also read it has an micro SD slot and one USB 2.0 connector.

I'm trying to steer my client away from tablets and instead buying a netbook or small laptop with Win 7. She already bought a Dell AIO 2020 with Win 8 and retuned it for a Win 7 model so I want to keep her in her comfort zone.

First thing that came up for me on "Surface RT Teardown"

"Teardown" being the key word here if you really want to know what is inside.
