I recently installed a new wired network for an existing managed services client. It consisted of 10 jacks, patch panel, switch, and each run between 30-60 feet. All tested and confirmed working. Each run was done in a drop ceiling and then down the drywall. I didn't hit any problems that made anything extremely difficult, but the wire pulling took time.
I spent about 13-15 hours total.
This isn't normally something I do, but the client wanted me to handle it because the electrician didn't want to get involved and have me say there was an issue later on.
Because its not something I do regularly I wanted to check with you guys to see if the time spent sounded reasonable and if I should just charge my normal hourly rate. What do you think is a reasonable labor charge for this job?
