Yes that's right.
I got the said machine in as it was not booting and the apple logo with the start up bar would get to the end then turn off.
Anyway as I don't do many Macs around 4 in the last year. I put my drive in I use for cloning to get the Mac to download the OSX over internet. The drive wasn't erased previously and had vista on it and the Mac booted into Vista without aproblem. OK I was getting the "driver missing" error etc.
So there you go. I know most of you Mac experts would probably of seen it before but I was surprised.

LOL!!! Years ago I went to a Dental office for something else. All of the operatories had shiny new iMacs running W7. Not boot camp mind you, just W7. Actually pretty easy if you download the Windoze drive pack before you nuke it.

I was just surprised as I don't do may mac.
I took the cloned drive and managed to copy all her files from it but tried to copy to new mac drive that I installed Lion on, which I have removed and put it into my dock on my pc and am using MacDrive to access it. But when I try to copy customers files back and it said it was Write protected or Locked. Didn't have anymore time so I'll check out why on Monday. Any pointers?

Hard to say without an accurate description. Maybe permissions issue.
