They are locked out I used PC unlocker and it did not mount the hard drive
I was going to pop H/D out and put in another laptop
I hate taking clients laptop apart without YouTube

I guess there would be a way to load driver might be easier to pop H/D out if it comes apart easy

When I google 20cjs0s800 get an older model with H/D door

They created a new user but every time they want to do something it asks for old employees pwd

Took a few screws out don't think its an easy one

Just looked yes its there in black and white should have seen it but it's black on black like those pickup trucks all black with black grill and logos, so used to reading label.
when I use unlocker.

PC unlocker it does not show users MS accounts I thought it converted then to normal account when resetting.
Might be better to nuke as it for a new user and not much on other than Office

I can use PC unlocker but don't think it works with a Microsoft account only local.
it's supposed to converts MS to local

Maybe he is using BitLocker its win 10 business, then again he can't as I can browse files in PC unlocker to users names

PCunlocker can reset a M$ account to local. Or you can bypass for a single login if you don't want to break the link.

when booted to guest in windows 10 it says windows 10 Business is this the same as winPro
if I install that will it activate.

on back of laptop it says Pro

There’s no such thing as Windows 10 business. Do you mean Enterprise?

if Windows has been previously activated on the machine then it will select the correct type on install frm the key in the bios.

Technically you are correct. There are only 3 versions of W10, Home, Pro, Enterprise. This whole "cloud integration" thing just obfuscates things. No long ago someone somewhere made a comment about "cloud" W10 and I think that is what they were referring to. I'm pretty sure M$ is still trying to get people to sign up for an OS subscription.

I understood it that you would be upgraded to Enterprise. Obviously not. Or at least for the lower tier versions. Just like Office 365 there are Enterprise versions of M365.
