I'm not a web developer nor could I build one by myself. I bought the template off of monster and edited the html code. Until I can afford for someone to build me one more professional (Once I get more clients) it's what I have to work with.

Let me know what you guys think... I can't post direct URLs until I'm 15 posts in on the forum boards.

www.PetrinoComputerRepair.com

Thanks Guys!!

website review

Not a fan of the "I think I am a computer doctor" repair shops. so with that I will refrain from any further comments.

Aesthetically I think the background is a problem. Consider ditching it for plain white or a flat, neutral colour, or a very subtle texture.

The other issue I see with the aesthetics is the logo. Consider having one made. Fiverr is a good place for this if you are cash strapped.

The layout itself (I only had a cursory glance) is actually pretty good.

I think the main thing that needs attending to is just the 'look' of the site, which is just background (will make the on-page colours and illustrations come out better) and logo IMO (will make the site look more 'professional').

Many of the links appear clickable but they don't take the user anywhere. That's a little confusing.

I like it, something about the top menu bugs me I feel it should be a diff color than the background. Like the grey color next to your phone number just have that whole top menu area that grey background minus the blue sides of course.

That bottom area:
Computer Repair
Virus Removal
Spyware Removal
Network Security
Data Recovery
Remote Support
Support
Contact us
About us
Find Us on
Facebook

I would shift that more to the right. I would make the "Find us on" line up with the "Contact Us" above it and I would move the other content to the right to line up with the text from "P.C. RepairPetrino Computer Repair
Allentown
NJ 08501
(609)-712-3661

PetrinoComputerRepair.com"

I am at work though so im using IE8 with a 120 dpi so its possible its more lined up than I am seeing.

Gotcha guys. Thanks for all your feedback. I'll work on some of the features mentioned.

Some of those links at the bottom lead to the services page. If you're already on the services page it will just reload the page you're already on because that's the services offered.

no need for a service map, just state that you cover all of NJ, the map is confusing, also I for one hate stock images, unless you're that lady I wouldn't use her.

I think the website is just too spaced out vertically honestly. I don't think the laptop picture should take up most of the visible homepage, because it really doesn't communicate much of anything. Have some kind of offer on it or at least a selling point. Tell the people why to choose your company not just what you do.

Service map makes it look like you service the states in blue. VERY misleading.

Text at bottom of first page is disjointed. You have services listed yet also have a link at the top. You need some kind of marketing grab line or introduction on the home page.
