What are your hours of operation?

We don't have a storefront, but we maintain business hours as if we did...

Monday - Friday 10am - 8pm
Saturday 12pm - 5pm
Sunday (closed)

We do this mostly for phone calls... if a customer calls outside of normal business hours, they're most likely going to end up in voicemail, unless I recognize by their number that they're a business client... I'll answer for them 24/7.

Just curious what hours you guys run your shops.

Retail shop opened a bit early to try to catch some folks on their way to work, have to stay open so they have time to get by after work.

Retail
8-6pm M-F
10am-6pm S
closed sunday

Business office hours
Office hours 9-5pm M-F or by appointment

Monday thru Friday 8 to 5. One man shop and onsite. I live in a town that most people work from home and have flexable schedules. So I will tell them Wednesday at 2 and 99% of they time they will say ok. In 8 years I have had 2 people tell me they work durning those hours.

Just me working out of my home but, like DocGreen, keeping hours is an important aspect of separating work and home:

Mon-Thurs 9-7
Fri-Sat 9-5
Sun closed

On Sunday, I'll take the odd call to book up Monday but I won't see any customers.

Similar to others here,

Mon-Fri 9-7
Sat 11-5
Closed Sunday

Home based business, one man shop. I will work the odd Sunday in the event the wife and kid are gone.. because I enjoy what I do.

Our office manager is at our office from 0830-1630.
I'm sometimes there before that, before I hit the road.
Our other tech will keep the office open until 5, he is salaried from 9-5..but if he is on the road onsite at the end of the day...the office will close at 1630 when she leaves.
My colleague is often at the office late at night...so several days a week the office is technically open until 8 or 9 or 10 or midnight or even into the wee hours of the morning. He prefers to start late, work late. I prefer to start early, stop working early.

This is a second job for me. These are the hours I answer phone calls. I often stay up late working to get jobs done. People often comment how convenient it is for them to have someone to work with after everyone else has closed for the day.

M-F 3pm-8pm
S-S 10am-8pm

No storefront here, just services.
M-F 8-5
All weekend or after-hours work is billed obnoxiously to keep those calls at bay and make doing the work worth it.

I'm a one-man, mobile-only business handling both business and residential clients. I work out of my house with a business phone number separate from the home number. I'll answer the business phone just about anytime (within reason) -- hey, always looking for an opportunity to book an appointment!

However, I try to schedule calls only Mon-Fri. Will do an occasional Saturday call, but never do calls on Sunday.

I have a good reciprocal working relationship with two shops here in town.
Shop 1 is open Mon-Fri 9-5:30; and Sat 9-2.
Shop 2 is open Mon-Sat from 9-1pm and 3pm-6pm. He uses 1pm-3pm for "lunch", errands, etc. (Not sure how he gets away with this, but it works for him.)

I have no shop, but these are "normal" hours of availability:

For business customers, Mon-Sat 8-6. Contracts may specify alternate hours, though in practice only one has extended hours (6-7).

For residential customers, Mon-Fri 9-5. I'll pick up PCs on Saturday but I don't begin work until Monday (officially -- sometimes I get bored).

9 to 9 Monday thru Friday. 9 to 12 Saturday. We have lots of filler contracts/projects. If I can keep a junior tech productive in the evening, might as well stay open...

Just myself the hours I tend to work are:-

Answering the phone:-
Monday to Friday 10:00am to 9:00pm
Saturday 11:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday: Depends on my mood:

Workshop: Monday to Friday, generally when I need to be there, anytime from 10:00am to 10:00pm.

I occasionally go at weekends but I try and avoid it.

My call outs are generally Monday to Friday, anytime from 10:30am to 8:30pm

Saturdays I might do the odd local call out, or if it is a big job I might cancel my Friday night out.
