I have a HP Touchsmart, that is constantly using the HD. Ran process explorer, and its wermgr.exe. Ive disabled error reporting every way I can, but it still just goes crazy. Any ideas?

Why not just find out what the service does and disable it? Not sure why an N&P is need.

Sorry just realised you have. Have you actually disabled the service via autoruns though?

Have you checked the error logs in case it is generating errors every few seconds?

Crazy wermgr.exe

If you have disabled windows error reporting via one of the following methods and the problem persists, the computer is probably infected:

1.Computer>Properties>Advanced>Error Reporting>Disable
2.Run>Services.msc>Error Reporting>Disable
3.Control Panel>System and Maintenance>Problem Reports and Solutions>Change Settings>Advanced Settings
