Just launched my new website here,

I'm welcome to any feedback and/or suggestions on how to change it.

As far as SEO goes, I'm using a wordpress plugin called Yoast...however I'm not all that familiar with it...or SEO in general. Any pointers with that would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I like the theme.
Your email address, phone number and opening hours are way too small imo.
I clicked on "Learn More" under Virus removal which took me to your Services Page. I wanted more info on virus removal, managed Services etc and discovered that the coloured squares are not links to anything which left me a little bewildered...

I know it's your name but I can't figure out how to pronounce "eauxp".

seems ok all up. here's a few little things i picked up.

problem with the facebook url.

pity the home page feature points don't line up. perhaps you can add some breaks or something to pad them vertically.

services page:
"We you need immediate servier, "

web design page:
"We will be able to tell you what your options are move on to a planning phase."

I'm curious about this phrase "certified technician" that keeps cropping up.

i notice that home page logo disappears on the small screen.

Okay, I'll definitely look into adding individual pages for each. I suppose that also would help for SEO purposes too. Thanks!

The name is a local thing. Cajun "eaux" is pronounced "O". It'd be pronounced "O-P"

It also bothered me about the buttons not being lined up, will continue to toy with that.

Thanks for the catches on spelling and what not. I'll make the revisions shortly.

Its backwards. No need for an image on the footer, should be in the header only. Your img-brand-default images is blurry. I thought it was because of the background color so I popped it into PS and nope, its just blurry. The images you do have must be compressed because most of them are pixelated. I'm guessing you got the images from Pexels because I recognize a couple of them.

Also, WordPress. And there are many here whom know I don't like it. I do use it for clients, but for my own site/s no, I prefer to keep the old school web design going. :D

It's alright.. a lot of wasted space on the pages though. And i'm like @Your PCMD , I keep it old school. I hate wordpress. same thing everywhere now. Just get rid of the dead space. It's just too much lol

Typo. Managed services “fully fledged IT depart”

Website design “concept art”. Wassat?

Develop “write that code”

I have nothing against Wordpress, but do dislike the modern styles in web design that some themes force on you.

Too much white space. Think about mobile devices and ensure the design is responsive.
Elements don’t align. Looks messy. Sends wrong visual message, does not provide good confidence for web design

Contact page extends over one screen. Zillions of HCI studies show if you force a user to scroll they leave. Anywhere there is a form ensure it fits entirely on a screen. Ditch the white space at the top. Ditch the FAQ move it elsewhere., you want them to contact you, Nothing else

Web design. Absolutely crucial that this looks smooth and professional. The content starts halfway down the page and is truncated on mobile. Get rid of the vast amount of empty space. I have just clicked web design, I know where I am at.

Forcing the reader to go horizontally and down is unnatural. Will lead to people not processing the second row, or skipping it entirely. Oddly, it might work on mobile, but would lead to too much scrolling. Make it into normal paragraphs with headings.

Could say a lot more, but that’s enough for now. ( disclaimer -I used to do this stuff in a previous job) ,

Hey Ethan,

I'm a little late to this chat but I agree with what the others have said-- you have a great start here but there are definitely some things you could fix. I'm also not that familiar with SEO yet, but I'm thinking of starting a website myself and have been doing some research. Here's an article that's been helpful for me: https://www.1and1.co.uk/digitalguid...ing/the-most-important-seo-tools-at-a-glance/

It talks about some of the best SEO tools out there, which might come in handy if you're looking to supplement the Yoast plugin. I hope that helps some.
